Hi there Devin. I went six years without being diagnosed. It was apparent on an MRI in 2003, then I found out in late 2005 that I have CM1 along with assorted other ailments that accompany CM1. I had the decompression surgery along with fusion. I am not better, I still have CM, and people do not understand that surgery does not 'fix' us. I am still on pain meds, and sometimes I just don't have the energy. I have Chronic Fatigue syndrome with Ehlers-danlos syndrome and as I get older it gets worse. I am so tired of being sick and tired. I never thought this would be my life. Everyone who doesn't have this, be blessed in your life, and live life to its fullest!

Oh I forgot my zipper is from my crown to t-1.
The scar doesn't hurt any longer but the left side of my head still goes numb at times due to nerve endings being cut.
